A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to be invited to the launch of a new Jersey cosmetic brand, Manomara. Manomara massage oils are part of a new Signature Massage Collection using unique and natural oils custom-made from Longueville Manor Hotel’s Cottage Garden spa.
I’m a secret fan of traditional little places, with old fashioned service and an air of quaintness. There’s just something about these kind of places that tends to give rise to real customer service, the kind that is so rare these days.
Since the April showers seem to finally have arrived (in May?!), I thought you might benefit from hearing about a cosy little place where you can safely hide from the rain, whilst also filling your tummy.
I think I’ve probably mentioned this before, but Gorey is one of my favourite places on the island, and Mont Orgueil Castle in particular.

The latest venture from the Calvani Group has arrived in Jersey, and boy, it’s a good one!
